It is very expensive to ship large lamps. One way to avoid this is to fold the lamp and ship it in a smaller box. This will sometimes save you hundreds of euros. In the package you will find all necessities to harden the lamp again after unfolding it, so the seams won\u2019t be visible anymore. We will send you an e-mail with an instruction video.<\/span>

Delivery time custom made products<\/strong>
The delivery time per handmade product is a maximum of 8 weeks. For a wallpanel, we first make two test pieces. We will discusse these with you within four weeks. After consultation of the test pieces, the delivery time is 8 weeks for the final cloth.

Payment<\/strong>
When ordering a lamp or wall panel you will receive a confirmation mail with the invoice for a 50% deposit. After delivery you receive an invoice for the other 50%. This invoice will also include shipping costs and possible extra costs, for example for extra meters of electric cord. <\/span><\/p>\n

Orders abroad must be paid in one go.
You can pay from abroad via PayPal or via the bank. For PayPal you will receive a payment link in the confirmation email. The transaction costs are calculated separately.

Which lamp can I place in the fitting?<\/strong><\/span>
For our basic collection we recommend to use a LED bulb. The E27 fitting has a quality mark, so a high wattage is no problem.<\/span><\/p>

Is the lamp flammable?<\/strong><\/span>
Wool is not a flammable product. Do always use the construction it comes with, so the light source remains at a safe distance of the felted lampshade.<\/span><\/p>

How do I clean the lamp or wall panel?<\/strong><\/span>
Your lamp can easily be cleaned with a dry cloth. Or carefully use the fine nozzle of the vacuum cleaner. The lamp is hardened with a water based hardener, so don't use water to clean it, the lamp will get soft. Once a year is sufficient.<\/span><\/p>

Can Vilt aan Zee provide cleaning and re-hardening services for the lamp?
<\/strong><\/p>

Yes! If your lamp has been damaged or soiled\u2014for example during a move\u2014you can send it back to us for restoration.<\/p>

Small lamps (till 35 cm): \u20ac 25,00.
Middle size lamps (till 55 cm): \u20ac 45,00.
Big lamps (till 80 cm): \u20ac 75,00.
Extra big lamps (till 100 cm): \u20ac 100,00.<\/p>

How do I transport the lamp?<\/strong><\/span>
This is very easy. Just blow up the included balloon in the lamp and close it with a clip. This way you lamp will stay in shape.<\/span><\/p>

Is my lamp certified?<\/strong>
<\/em>The vital part, the electrical parts such as the fitting and the electrical cord are certified. The suspension construction is delivered by a professional company specialized in making lampshades. In a professional way we combine the different parts in our studio in The Hague. Thus we are able to deliver you a reliable product.<\/span><\/p>

Are the lamps heavy?
