General conditions
Vilt aan Zee 

 

Article 1. Applicability

1.1 The general conditions apply to all products found at Felt at Sea. 

1.2 Deviations from the general conditions may be made, this must be recorded in writing by Vilt aan Zee. 

1.3 When placing an order you agree to the conditions of Vilt aan Zee. 

1.4 Vilt aan Zee is not liable for any (interim) price changes. Any typographical errors in the system do not guarantee delivery of products.

 

Article 2. Formation (and termination) of the agreement 

2.1 An agreement with Felt aan Zee is concluded when an order confirmation is sent by email to the email address provided by the Customer. It is irrelevant whether the order was ordered via the website or by telephone. 

2.2 The customer can cancel his order, this must be done within 48 hours after the placement date, by sending an email to info@viltaanzee.nl.

 

Article 3. Prices, products, offers 

3.1 All prices on Vilt aan Zee are in euros and include 21% VAT. It does not include shipping and import costs. 

3.2 Products remain the property of Vilt aan Zee until payment for the same has been received. 

 

Article 4. Payment

4.1 For orders through www.viltaanzee.nl, payment can be made in the following manner: via bank transfer to the account of ViltaanZee 

4.2 Shipping costs shall be borne by the customer. 

4.3 Payment of the invoice must be made within 15 days. 

 

Article 5. Delivery and delivery time

5.1 Orders will be delivered within 2 weeks if in stock. If the product is not in stock, or concerns a custom order, the order will be delivered on the date agreed upon by email and after receipt of the amount to be paid. 

5.2 Once the products to be delivered have been collected, the transportation risk passes to the customer. 

5.3 When placing an order you must provide your name, address, zip code, city and email. Felt aan Zee will only use this personal information for sending the order confirmation by email, checking payments and delivering the orders.

 

Article 6. Warranty and liabilit 

6.1 We grant the warranty on the goods delivered by us as granted by the suppliers. After the warranty damage has been awarded by us, the choice is ours as to how to repair the damage. Namely, repairing the damage, replacing the damaged part or replacing the damaged product. 

6.2 In the event of repair of damage which subsequently proves not to be attributable to warranty, the costs will be charged in full to the client. 

6.3 Vilt aan Zee shall not be obliged to pay compensation (in any form whatsoever) to the Customer unless there is intent or gross negligence on the part of Vilt aan Zee. 

6.4 If for any reason Vilt aan Zee does have to compensate any damage, this will never exceed the amount equal to the invoice value in respect of the product. 

6.5 There is no warranty in the following cases: - If the wear and tear of that product can be considered normal; - If the original invoice no longer exists, has been altered, made illegible; - If defects are the result of improper or injudicious use; - If damages are caused by intentional, gross negligence, or negligent maintenance. 

6.6 Vilt aan Zee is not liable for fire damage

 

Article 7 Disclaimer

7.1 Vilt aan Zee does its utmost to provide the best possible product information. yet it may occur that the item you ordered may differ in shape or color from the one shown on the website. This is because all products are handmade and therefore unique and because monitor settings may vary by computer.

 

Article 8 Shipping of items

We ship the items by Postnl or a parcel carrier. Orders are shipped within 14 days of receiving payment on our account. For standard shipments abroad we use the applicable rates of TNT Post and parcel services. Please note that for foreign payments, the amount we receive must also match the amount to be paid, due to exchange rates. Any payment costs for foreign payments are to be paid by the buyer.

 

Article 9 Exchanges

Exchange of products from the webshop is possible, if not used, within 7 days of receipt, but must first be reported by email or telephone. All additional shipping costs (returning, resending) are for the buyer. Felt at Sea does not give any money back in case of exchange. In case of faulty delivery or manufacturing defects, we will of course provide redelivery or refund of the amount paid. The return must first be reported. Unreported returns will be refused.
